The plains are known for their large herds of buffaloes, antelopes, and the presence of predators like lions. The early morning light is perfect for photography, and you may see predators on the hunt.

  Transfer to Bwindi: After breakfast, embark on a road trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours, passing through scenic landscapes and vibrant local communities. Bwindi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is renowned for its biodiversity and dense forest.

Mid Morning-Afternoon

  Gorilla Trekking: Transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. Experienced guides will lead you through the dense forest to find a gorilla family. This challenging but rewarding trek offers the chance to observe these magnificent creatures up close in their natural habitat. Spend an hour with the gorillas, watching them interact, play, and go about their daily activities. The experience of seeing these gentle giants in their natural environment is both humbling and exhilarating.

Afternoon

  Return to the Lodge for relaxation, Mahogany Springs Safari Lodge After the trek, return to the lodge for a massage to soothe any sore muscles and relax. Take some time to unwind and reflect on the incredible experience.

Late Afternoon

  Batwa Cultural Experience: In the late afternoon, head out for the Batwa Cultural Experience at Batwa Empowerment Village. Engage with the Batwa people, one of the oldest indigenous tribes in Africa. Learn about their traditional way of life, customs, and history. The Batwa Cultural Experience offers a unique insight into their hunter-gatherer lifestyle, including demonstrations of traditional hunting techniques, medicinal plants, and cultural dances.
